Philosophy

N°01 · SAFETY

Safety comes first.

Safety is the first thing I think about. After that, a natural look: never overdone, and still you.

N°02 · ONLY WHAT YOU NEED

If you don't need it, I won't recommend it.

I don't recommend treatments you don't need. If something isn't necessary, I believe it's better left undone.

N°03 · SIDE BY SIDE

Toward the same goal, side by side.

I hope our time together feels less like an appointment and more like two people walking toward the same goal. That's the kind of doctor I want to be.

N°04 · IN THE ROOM

  • Every consultation is with both a coordinator and the doctor.
  • If you don't need it, I'll tell you honestly.
  • I aim for a natural look, not an overdone one.

N°05 · CAREER

  • M.D., College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea
  • Full Member, Korean Association of Aesthetic Surgery Physicians
  • Full Member, Korean Society of Obesity and Aesthetics
  • Full Member, Korean Society of Sports Medicine
  • Member, Korean Association of Aesthetic Physicians

All skin notes (12)
How much sunscreen should I use on my face?
About 1 g for the whole face, roughly two finger-lengths. When you are outdoors for a long time, reapply about every two hours.
Do I need a treatment for every skin concern?
Not always. Many concerns improve with steady sun protection and moisturizing. If a treatment would genuinely help, I will explain why.
Can I travel by plane right after a treatment?
It depends on the treatment. Some leave redness or swelling for a few days, so tell us about any upcoming travel or events at the consultation and we will plan around them.
Should I use retinol in the morning or at night?
At night. Retinol can make skin more sensitive to sunlight, so use it in the evening and wear sunscreen during the day.
Why does my skin feel tight after washing?
Usually the cleanser is too strong or the water too hot. Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, and moisturize within a few minutes.
Do I need sunscreen on cloudy days or indoors?
On cloudy days, yes: UVA passes through clouds. Indoors, it helps if you sit near a window for long hours.
How often should I exfoliate?
For most skin, once or twice a week is enough. If it stings or turns red, stop and give your skin a break.
Can I use vitamin C and retinol together?
A simple way is vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night. Splitting them makes irritation less likely.
Can pores be made permanently smaller?
Pore size is largely set by genes and oil. Sunscreen, oil control and some treatments can make them look smaller, but not disappear.
Does oily skin still need moisturizer?
Yes. A light gel or lotion is enough. Skin that lacks water can look shinier, not less.
How long before a new skincare routine shows results?
Give it about one to three months. The skin renews itself slowly, so changing products every week makes it hard to tell what works.
What should I avoid right after a treatment?
It depends on the treatment, so follow the instructions you are given. Often that means no rubbing, sauna or heavy exercise on the same day.
